Liberty Dear Jane in progress

Hello friends,

here are my frist 6 Liberty DJ block, sandwiched and hand quilted. They are so fun to make. As you can see on the back of each block I used the same fabric I used for the block. I took inspiration from here.

As far as I have a little spare time I'll go on with more blocks.

Have a look at this blog: CELEBRATE HAND QUILTING They have a fun Blog Hop, all about hand quilting.

  14. Such a cute blocks and brilliant idea to have the back in the same fabric as the block. Will you add sashing? I once did a "quilt as you go", but then the blocks were bigger, I love yours they are so beautiful.

  16. I love your idea to guilt as you go. I was wondering if you would need to trim back the batting quarter inch to sew on sashing or how would you go about doing that? Thanks for your reply. Sharon sharonsplace52@msn.com
