atelier-arte: NEW HOUSE

This will be a new page to show you the progress with the building of our new house. We waited 5 years to see our dream come true. Monday the workers will start. Here a picture of the plot how it looks now.

On the back we have the light house of our village and in the front the Atlantic Ocean.
I hope that we will pass Christmas in the new house.

Beginning of the building. Here they will build a little house to store the materials. Later today a digger will come to move and prepare the ground.

End of week 12 and our new home is growing and growing. Friday they made the lower roofs of entrance hall, laundry room and the corridor between garage and house. Then they finished the garage floor and the big terrace in front of the house.

And here we are! After a long break here you can see the new pictures we took today. A lot of work has been done! Next week they will close the roof.

This evening we made a little party to celebrate the finished roof. You can see the tree on the top (that's a Swiss tradition). I was a perfect evening, with mini pizzas, mini croissants and Prosecco.

Finally the place is clean and ready for the finishing. Tiles already here, the start next week. As you can see they started painting, what a difference!!!

They are working very fast and I'll post new pictures very soon!!!

This will be the outside color, with some dark grey touches.
