A few hous later, finished!

Now I just have to sandwich it and start to quilt. Section 7 is almost done. Tomorrow I hope to finish the quilting on it.

ONE BLOCK WONDER

Hi everybody!

Today I would like to share my one block wonder quilt. They are very fun to make and you never know what is coming out. This special one is made out of 41/2" triangles, sewn toghether in hexagons. I used about 100 hexagons. I hand quilted it.

I used the fantastic book ONE BLOCK WONDERS - ONE FABRIC - ONE SHAPE - ONE-OF-A-KIND QUILTS by MAXINE ROSENTHAL.

One block wonder in the kitchen. The border is an Amy Butler solid.

The first work I would like to share with you is my Dear Jane project.

I started in August 2009 and am still on work. I finished all my blocks (only the 169 center blocks) and am currently sewing them into sections and quilting the sections. Here some pictures of my work.

MY FIRST DAY

Hello everybody! This is my first day as a blogger! I am a mum of 3 boys and grandma. I love to quilt.

I will post some of my works. I live in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, on the Azores Island S. Miguel.
