Hi friends,

today I have been very busy. I put together my final section and basted it ready to be quilted. Here it is for you to have a look.

 

Just this one to quilt and then I will start with the border, probably triangles like flying geese.

ONE BLOCK WONDER

Hi everybody!

Today I would like to share my one block wonder quilt. They are very fun to make and you never know what is coming out. This special one is made out of 41/2" triangles, sewn toghether in hexagons. I used about 100 hexagons. I hand quilted it.

I used the fantastic book ONE BLOCK WONDERS - ONE FABRIC - ONE SHAPE - ONE-OF-A-KIND QUILTS by MAXINE ROSENTHAL.

One block wonder in the kitchen. The border is an Amy Butler solid.

TILES IN PONTA DELGADA

I started in August 2009 and am still on work. I finished all my blocks (only the 169 center blocks) and am currently sewing them into sections and quilting the sections. Here some pictures of my work.

MY FIRST DAY

Hello everybody! This is my first day as a blogger! I am a mum of 3 boys and grandma. I love to quilt.

I will post some of my works. I live in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, on the Azores Island S. Miguel.
